Countdown to the Transplant Tour - September 15th to 20th
Riders have to be ready to ride 400 miles in 6 days by 15th September. You can see the route on the 2024 Event page
A number of us could charitably be considered to have entered the third age so training and preparation of rider and bike are essential.
The organisers have developed the 15 weeks to fitness training programme and checklist below for the benefit of those taking part.
The main thing is that the event is an endurance rather than speed event and the main thing is to complete the course each day alongside your fellow group riders.
